Cookie Policy

What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that websites place on your device to store information. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently and to provide information to website owners.
Our Approach: We Don't Use Cookies
Lendscale does not use cookies for analytics, advertising, tracking, or any other purpose.
We have made a deliberate choice to use privacy-friendly technology that does not require cookies. This means you will not see a cookie consent banner on our website because there is nothing to consent to.
Analytics
We use Umami Analytics, a privacy-focused analytics service that is completely cookieless. Umami does not store any information on your device, does not use cookies, local storage, or any other client-side storage mechanism for analytics purposes. It does not track you across websites, does not collect your IP address, and does not build a profile about you.
The only data Umami collects is anonymous, aggregate information such as total page views, referral sources, and device types. This data cannot be used to identify any individual visitor.
Local Storage
We use your browser's local storage (not cookies) for one limited purpose:
- Privacy notice dismissal — When you click “Got it” on the privacy notice bar at the bottom of the page, we save a simple flag in your browser's local storage so the notice does not appear again on future visits. This stores no personal data — only a true/false value indicating that you have seen the notice.
You can clear this at any time by clearing your browser data, and the privacy notice will simply reappear on your next visit.
Third-Party Technologies
We do not embed any third-party technologies that set cookies, including:
- No Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager
- No Facebook Pixel or Meta tracking
- No advertising cookies of any kind
- No social media tracking widgets
- No third-party chat widgets that set cookies
If we embed a calendar booking widget (such as Cal.com) on our contact page in the future, we will update this policy to reflect any technologies it uses.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever introduce technologies that use cookies, we will update this policy and implement appropriate consent mechanisms in accordance with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and the Data Use and Access Act 2025.
